Visiting Iceland

Vaccinated or previously infected with COVID? All travelers, regardless of origin, are welcome to visit Iceland if they can show either a certificate of full vaccination or a certificate of previous COVID-19 infection. Read more about travel and certificate requirements.

Not vaccinated, and not with antibodies? Travelers from EEA/EFTA countries are welcome, together with a growing list of other countries, including the US and Canada. For those permitted to visit, there are testing and quarantine requirements upon arrival in Iceland.

Do you have a Travel Credit Voucher?

Your Travel Credit Voucher is:

  • valid for booking 3 years from the date of issue, and for travel 1 year from booking.
  • valid as payment for all Icelandair flights on our website or via the Icelandair app.
