Icelandair's Inaugural Flight to Baltimore

Reykjavik, Iceland, May 28, 2018– Today, Icelandair took off from Charm City with the return of their non-stop service to Iceland from Baltimore-Washington International (BWI). Guests were treated to cake and a water cannon salute as flight 642 departed for Iceland at 8:30 pm. Icelandair will operate four non-stop flights a week to Iceland on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays, with easy connections to and from more than 25 destinations in Europe.

BWI service will be in addition to Icelandair’s ongoing flights from Washington-Dulles, and will increase the options when flying Internationally to and from the Baltimore-Washington corridor.  With a short commute from both Baltimore and Washington, DC, BWI also offers many flight connections throughout the US with Icelandair’s partner airlines, JetBlue and Alaska Airlines.
